My sound driver is IDT high definition codec. I have updated the sound driver but nothing has improved.
It is forced to be as the communication device only. Also I have tried it from playback devices but again I can not set the headphones as default playback device. It shows two devices but when I select one of them the speakers are selected. if the headphone is unplugged then the sound comes from speakers and when they are plugged the sound comes from headphones and I can not select speakers. As you know in windows 10 anniversary update you can switch between sound outputs when the headphone is plugged right from the sound icon in the taskbar, but it doesn't work as it should be.
